* In addition to sending your child's immunization record, every new enrollment must receive a Maryland State Physical within 6 months of registration. If you have questions, please reach out to our School Nurse, Ms. Barbara McSherry.
Once all documents are uploaded and your forms are submitted, please allow 2 business days for a response from Mrs. Besche, SPHS Registrar. After your information has been verified, you will receive an email from Mrs. Besche that will allow you to then request a registration appointment with your assigned School Counselor. Families may select to have an in-person or virtual Google Meet registration appointment. In either case, both the student and the parent, must be present for the appointment. The registration appointment will serve to review the student's previous course history and course selections for the upcoming school year. Please note that summer registration meetings will not take place until we receive confirmation that the student has been promoted and we have received final grades. Registration appointments are typically about 30 minutes.

Athletics: If your student is interested in Fall sports, please visit register your student as soon as possible but no later than August 3rd. Sports registration is open between June 26th and August 3rd with tryouts beginning on August 9th. Should you have specific questions, please contact the Severna Park High School Athletic Director, Dave Kauffman. Please note that the athletic office will NOT accept a paper copy of the physical. It must be uploaded to the student's athletic portal.
If you have any general questions, please email Jaclyn Besche, Registrar.
I look forward to working with you and welcoming your family to Severna Park High School!
Course Selection Materials - New students should use the course selection worksheet for their grade level to help them with their course selections. Do not follow instructions regarding entering course selections online. You will complete your course selections with your School Counselor during the registration appointment.
